A few years into my marriage with Asahi, a massive opportunity at the publishing house landed in my lap. My boss, Mr. Ikeda, gave me the chance to work with the prestigious photographer Toshiki Sayama. I arrived on the day of the shoot ready for a career-defining success, only to discover our female model had vanished. With no replacement available and Mr. Ikeda furious as the photographer arrived, I was backed into a corner. To save the project and his own reputation, Ikeda ordered me to call my wife, Asahi, and force her to serve as the emergency nude replacement.
