Why watch?

Bob Odenkirk's back as Hutch Mansell and director Timo Tjahjanto treats this one like one long adrenaline hit — the fight scenes are sharp, brutal, and funny all at once. Hutch keeps getting underestimated and then he reminds everyone in the room why that's a terrible idea. Once the second act kicks in it doesn't let up, barely a minute to breathe.

Who is it for?

Watch this on a weekend evening when you want action without pretense — something you can laugh at with friends and not think too hard about. If you liked the first Nobody or John Wick but with comedy mixed in, same energy here. There's violence and gunplay, but it doesn't take itself seriously — okay for older teens, though parents should know there are fights and shootouts.

If you dug Nobody 2 because Bob Odenkirk plays a guy you shouldn't mess with and the whole thing doesn't take itself seriously, check out Killers or The Nice Guys. Both blend action with a wry sense of humor about what's happening on screen, without cranking up the melodrama. The supporting characters in each film steal scenes the way Colin Hanks does in Nobody 2.

AI Spotlight

Powered by Claude

Hutch Mansell is a suburban dad living a quiet life, but when someone breaks into his house, he can't help himself — his past as a contract killer comes roaring back. Bob Odenkirk plays him with the same deadpan energy that made the first Nobody work, except now director Timo Tjahjanto amps up the violence and the dark humor at the same time. What starts as home invasion quickly spirals into Hutch uncovering secrets about his wife Beccy that neither of them saw coming. If you liked the first Nobody or Atomic Blonde, you know exactly what you're signing up for.
