Anthony Hopkins is a uptight CIA agent forced to team up with a street-smart con artist played by Dwayne Johnson — who's actually the identical twin brother of the agent Hopkins was working with before things went sideways. The two have zero chemistry at first, which is exactly the point, since Hopkins plays it completely straight-faced while Johnson riffs and improvises his way through spy craft he clearly has no business attempting. There's a nuclear weapon somewhere in the mix that Russian arms dealers want to move, but honestly the movie is way more interested in watching these two clash than in any plot mechanics. If you liked the mismatched buddy energy of 48 Hrs. or the action-comedy tone of Beverly Hills Cop, this lands in that same wheelhouse.
