Only tractor driver Igor knows the truth about the three aliens who landed in the village and took on human form. Precinct officer Sergei Petrovich senses something is wrong, but no one believes him. After all, the new ones quickly fit into rural life: Igor met his beloved in the person of Sveta, the teacher Ira met a kindred spirit in the form of Roma, and the daughter of the district policeman Lyuba met the hero Borya.
